Kelly Chudler is a queer, nonbinary, disabled and chronically ill multidisciplinary artist & musician currently living on the road. Kelly uses they/them pronouns.

Kelly grew up in Seattle, WA discovering creatures in tide pools, hiking through forests and singing on cold beaches as trains rushed by to far off places. They were always drawing and singing as a child and began photographing with a point & shoot film camera at a young age. One day, they dream of creating a community darkroom space.

They moved to Boston, MA to pursue a BFA at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University and graduated in May 2013. It was during this time that Kelly became deeply involved in social justice, environmentalism, community building and the DIY punk scene, which all influence their work. In 2015, Kelly moved back to the west coast and in 2018 was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. This illness has been life changing.

Sales from their online store go towards their treatment for chronic illnesses. A portion of sales will be redistributed to Black individuals, Black led organizations and groups that support the BLM movement as a act of reparations to support Black lives. Kelly’s art is a form of activism, storytelling, healing and recovery.

Kelly also plays banjo, guitar, piano and sings. They were in the band, Dogtooth & Nail a folk band with punk & blues influences. More info here.
